- Kostetsky V. A. is an excellent student of public education (2012) and the teacher of the highest category. For high results, conscientious and creative work, he was awarded the Shukhrat Medal in 1996; for a great personal contribution to strengthening friendship and humanitarian cooperation between the people of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, he was awarded the medal “For Strengthening Peace, Friendship and Cooperation” (Russia, 2018); for preparing a book on the history of the Republic of Korea, he was awarded the honorary medal “For Services to Culture” of the Republic of Korea (2016). He participated in international conferences on pedagogy and the preparation of textbooks and manuals in Moscow, Minsk, Prague, Warsaw, Seoul, Berlin, London, etc.
- For a significant contribution to improving the intellectual and spiritual potential of the country’s youth, educating them in the spirit of love for the Motherland and devotion to the ideas of independence, respect for national and universal values, long-term seminal work in the field of education and upbringing, he was awarded many honorary certificates of the institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- His teaching experience is about 40 years. V. Kostetsky is constantly involved in lectures at advanced training courses, where he shares his experience and the experience of teachers from foreign countries. Throughout his teaching career, Vasily Anufrievich has been working on the creation of textbooks on history, law and the basics of spirituality. Working as the chief methodologist for history, he was assigned to create programs, and then methodological manuals and textbooks on the basics of spirituality and the idea of national independence.
- Currently, V. A. Kostetsky works as a teacher of history and law in the NGEI “Smart school”, improving the teaching methods, making adjustments to published textbooks and manuals. He constantly shares his experience in the newspaper “Teacher of Uzbekistan” and on his own website. In collaboration with prominent historians of Uzbekistan, he has prepared textbooks on history and law and methodological manuals for teachers of history and law (the list of works is attached). He is the author of 27 educational films on the history of Uzbekistan.
